This is a product of my first-ever quilting class. I took the class taught by Nancy Clock at Black Cat Quilts. It was a lot of fun and I learned two new techniques, paper piecing and curved seams.

Here's a picture of what the finished quilt pattern looks like. Obviously mine is much more Chi-An in color! In a big departure for me, I haven't plotted out the whole quilt block by block, color by color yet. In fact, I'm not even sure I already have all the fabrics I want to use. But, I'm enjoying the organic process for a change.

I haven't decided on the quilting pattern yet, but since the total is 36 blocks, I think I'll have some time to think about it.
